Wool is the original “technical fabric:” it wicks moisture, resists odor, and regulates temperature. Tropical weight wool is perfect for getting all the function out of a cycling cap with little of the weight and bulk. Mainly, keeping the sun, rain, and sweat out of your eyes.
All seams are double stitched and encased – this cap is built to last. Cotton twill tape sweatband in black, with elastic in the back for a forgiving fit. The bill (4.5cm deep) is filled with polyester fiber and is top-stitched with matching black thread. The bill will hold its shape well, doesn’t sag, and flips up with just as satisfying a flip as plastic does. Will fit under a helmet.
24 grams – among the lightest caps I’ve ever issued. (22g for the small size)
Care: Dry clean or hand wash cool/warm, shape, dry flat or hang to dry. Hot iron, steam ok.
