Product Description
This is a smart all-wool cap with a special color I don’t see much in wools: yellow. The earflap was salvaged from an unwanted yellow lambswool sweater vest needing a second life. The crown is sewn up from a soft brown plaid wool with blue and gold accents. Only four made.
All seams are serged with a double row of stitching and rough edges are encased with black 3/4″ cotton twill tape. There is a stretch of elastic in the back for snug fit. The 5cm deep brim is filled with a very durable polyester fiber stiffener to give it shape and substance. It is still crushable if it needs to be stowed, and easily re-shapable. The stretchy knit earflap can be pulled down over the ears in chilly weather, or folded up and out of the way. Great ear coverage. The cap can be worn under a helmet when the earflap is down.
Either dry clean or gently hand wash, shape, dry flat, cool iron.
