Premium quality Italian woven plaid wool in black blue, red and gold, paired with a textured but soft merino earflap upcycled from an extrafine Italian merino wool sweater. This cap has nice long and stretchy earflaps that can be pulled down if necessary for better coverage. Soft 5cm deep bill will hold its shape despite an occasional folding and put up with all sorts of abuse. All plaids are matched and topstitching is done in matching thread – except for a matching blue accent on the bill (look closely). This is an heirloom quality handmade cap that will keep you cozy and looking thoughtful on your bike for many years.

For longest life, I recommend hand washing in the sink with Woolite or Eucalan or even mild dish soap. Let it rest and soak a few minutes then rinse in warm water, squeeze out some of the water, and hang or lay out on a rack to air dry.
