Little Package Sewing Pattern #02 makes a racer-style 3-panel cycling cap with a 4cm deep bill. Clear, step-by-step instructions explain how to adjust for all head sizes, and also provide hints on how to add a cozy earflap to a cap. This is a cleaner, better fitting design than free cap patterns available and has a MUCH simpler, more streamlined construction than that available in tutorials I’ve found online. I include helpful tips that I learned over 8 years sewing caps for a living. Plus, I am available to answer your questions.
Notes on this PDF download
Your file will be available immediately through a “download” link after you check out. The download link is also accessible via your receipt email. After 30 days this link will expire, so make sure to download the file and keep it in a safe spot on your drive.
All pages print within the margins of letter-sized (8.5 x 11 inch) or A4 (8.3 x 11.7 inch) paper, borderless or not. One pattern piece is larger and must be cut as two pieces and taped back together, but that is easy to figure out and simple to do.
On printing your copy, make sure your printer is set to print the pattern at 100%. Sometimes a printer will default to a “scale to fit” setting — you probably don’t want that unless you know you want to make a larger or smaller size cap. You can compare the gauge on the last two pages of the document to a ruler to tell for sure if your pattern is to the default “one-size” 100% scale or not.
If you have questions about the file, or even technical questions about printing, feel free to contact me as I am happy to help. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to troubleshoot your particular operating system and printer for you, but I will at the very least ensure you receive your file.
